Do you have the drive to join a dynamic service that has been delivering counselling across the communities of Fife for over 25 years?
DAPL is a BACP accredited counselling service based in Fife. We are looking for qualified/accredited Children & Young People’s Counsellors to join our existing staff team to provide counselling within Fife’s schools and local communities.
You will be required to work primarily with children and young people across a range of mediums. You will also support parent/carers, families and teaching staff. As well as 1:1 counselling you will have the ability to facilitate therapeutic groups, psycho-educational groups and provide information on a range of issues affecting young people.
Previous supervised counselling practice at a minimum of diploma level is essential; as is experience of working with young people in a range of settings. You must also hold a full UK drivers licence and have the ability to drive (the post will involve outreach work and providing a service in a number of schools). We require:
- Children and Young persons counselling qualification
- Previous counselling practice experience
- A satisfactory PVG scheme record
- A full drivers license
